Alternative energy is a real need in light of climate change around the world, and as thi specialization is one of the pillars of sustainability and its goals adopted by the United Nations, it makes sense to strongly invest in this direction in the Palestinian market, especially when talking about the scarcity of traditional fuel resources in Palestine.
The program focuses on solar-electric technology and its harvesting, as well as the installation and maintenance of its systems, and introduces students to other alternative energy types such as wind, biomass and solar thermal energy so they will be able to adapt to the future needs of the market.
This specialization provides students with strong support in the competitions related to electrical systems, which opens wider fields of work for them to overcome the difficulties they may face in the market and allows them to adapt to the nature of the challenges imposed by the laws and regulations on electricity companies in the different regions. Because of the presence of courses that support the concepts of the Economics of renewable energy, students will be able to evaluate bids and profits, which will enable them to open their own businesses in the future.
After completing the course, the student is able to study the theoretical courses, laboratories, and practical training.
The Smart College of Modern Education is dedicated to the seamless integration of theoretical and practical approaches, aiming to enhance an exemplary educational system that equips students with the necessary qualifications to enter the workforce directly. It focuses on preparing students for the highly competitive landscape of traditional employment, where thousands vie for limited opportunities each year.
