This program focuses on developing students’ abilities and skills to create interior designs that meet international standards. It covers the design and planning of architectural spaces and interiors that fulfill both the physical and emotional needs of people and users, including the design and arrangement of furniture within these spaces. The program also aims to equip students with the tools to enhance the quality of the interior environment and make the most of modern technological tools and computer applications to achieve the best contemporary solutions.
Study Duration:
This program consists of two academic years, totaling 76 credit hours.
• Equipping graduates with practical skills and experience in various fields of architecture, such as drawing and designing architectural plans and presentations, creating interior views, and preparing executive plans for buildings.
• Accurately and efficiently constructing architectural models, as well as drawing and preparing health, electrical, and structural plans manually.
• Enhancing students’ proficiency in using various advanced computer programs for drawing and design to keep up with technological advancements.
• Preparing graduates with high competence to work in their field of specialization in both public and private institutions, such as construction companies and engineering offices.
• Enabling graduates to present initial ideas for proposed projects, along with detailed drawings and models.
• Enabling graduates to calculate quantities and specifications for various projects.
• Engineering offices in terms of design and supervision at work sites.
• The freelance field with the possibility of starting private professional projects, such as an interior design office, a furniture showroom, a carpentry and woodwork shop, or metalworks and its various forms.
• Specialized professional projects in decoration works.
• Showrooms and painting and plaster works in all their forms.
• Supervising projects through an engineering office, with an assistant engineer overseeing interior designs and finishing works for buildings in institutions, residential, or commercial projects.
