E-learning and Interactive

The Smart University College for Modern Education prioritizes staying at the forefront of cutting-edge technologies in education. It embraces the concept of interactive education, blending vocational and technical learning with advanced interactive tools to create a comfortable and effective educational environment. Below is an overview of the interactive learning process, tools, and software utilized

What is Interactive Learning?

Interactive Devices and Tools

Software for E-Learning and Interactive Education:

Interactive education involves a series of interconnected components, including tools, software, curricula, and students’ tablets.

Interactive Screens
The first of their kind in Palestine, these Android-based screens form an integrated system that allows lecturers to browse the internet, use applications such as Zoom and Teams, and leverage the e-Share feature. This feature enables teachers to utilize touch-screen functionalities seamlessly. The screens also serve as interactive whiteboards with multi-touch capabilities, allowing the addition of photos, videos, drawings, and technical measurements to enhance teaching.

Student Tablets
Replacing traditional paper books, student tablets contain all college courses and curricula and are managed via e-class and email systems. Students use these devices to participate in interactive lectures, enabling active engagement in activities through their tablets.

E-Classroom
Managed by Google, the e-classroom connects students and lecturers via email. Teachers can manage students, grades, and course materials while sharing interactive lectures alongside other learning tools.

Moodle Platform
The Moodle platform is integrated with the registration system, automatically syncing lecture details, student lists, and grade distribution. Accessible using a student’s portal credentials, Moodle enriches the educational process by hosting digital lectures conducted through platforms like Zoom. It also includes interactive tools like H5P and a robust question bank for electronic exams.

Nearpod Program
Nearpod is one of the interactive tools used at SUME, enabling lecturers to design interactive lessons with features like collaborative boards, brainstorming questions, open-ended questions, 3D videos, and interactive games. These tools enhance engagement during lectures and allow instructors to assess progress through activity reports, ensuring effective information delivery to students.
