Public Relations and International Relations Department

The Public Relations and International Relations Department is a vital unit at Smart University College, working to enhance trust between the college and its audience. It serves as a bridge between the college and its internal and external communities by establishing communication channels with the press, news agencies, local radio stations, television, newsletters, and workshops.

 

Tasks of the Cultural Affairs and Public Relations Division:

  • Supervising, participating in, and organizing cultural activities and programs in various fields to present an authentic image of the college and strengthen its relationships with institutions and stakeholders in both the public and private sectors.
  • Engaging with media outlets to promote the college’s strategic aspirations and objectives, as well as its role in improving and advancing higher education.
  • Supervising the planning, organization, and execution of scientific, cultural, and social conferences, along with intellectual seminars held at the college and its departments.
  • Publishing media materials and brochures that highlight the college’s distinctive image, introduce the local and international community to its goals, achievements, and various activities.
  • Providing media coverage of the college’s news and events by preparing media reports, writing news articles, and coordinating with different media outlets, including print, radio, and television.
  • Hosting college guests and documenting these events through various means to reflect the college’s positive and distinguished image, fostering strong and constructive relationships with all relevant academic institutions and stakeholders.
  • Developing specifications, designs, and initial artistic layouts for college publications, including: (Student Handbook, Graduation Projects Guide, newsletters, magazines, folders, brochures, posters, cards, books, and booklets). Additionally, overseeing, coordinating, and following up on their production in collaboration with the college’s printing division.
  • Supplying the college website with news and activities that have been conducted.
  • Capturing photos of general and special events, as well as preparing logos, posters, and banners for the college.
