The Education Center at Smart University College for Modern Education (SUME) supports students with online and interactive services by providing electronic and online resources for educational courses. These resources include recorded lectures, computerized quizzes and tests, interactive e-books, animated educational media, and more. All these supportive educational materials are made available through SUME’s Smart Educational Website. Additionally, programs are in place to ensure course availability on students’ mobile devices.

All the computers and electronic devices at SUME are directly connected to the internet, facilitating access to international resources for both students and staff. This connectivity enables them to exchange knowledge and experiences, as well as enhance their academic and professional skills

The library is considered a fundamental cultural and educational facility that plays a pivotal role in advancing education and research. It serves as a cornerstone for both academic and vocational organizations. For this reason, SUME places significant emphasis on gathering cutting-edge knowledge and resources, organizing them for future use, and making them accessible to beneficiaries.

This comprehensive database is available in two formats:

  1. The traditional method, offering services such as booklets, references, and photocopying.
  2. The advanced, computerized method, supported by an educationally and vocationally skilled staff.

Striving to provide the best services, the e-library includes higher education degree research and over 8 million online resources available for researchers. Students can also utilize these resources as references for academic purposes. Finally, SUME remains committed to staying updated with the latest research across various fields.

The Research and Studies Department is responsible for conducting various studies and research aimed at improving educational programs and their implementation. Additionally, it facilitates the publication of research papers by students and staff. The department also organizes and executes specialized conferences and workshops that benefit the entire college.

SUME provides a fully equipped clinic that offers comprehensive medical services for both students and staff members. The clinic features two separate sections to accommodate males and females.

A designated prayer room is available in the administration building. As part of its strategic plan, SUME aspires to build a mosque that will serve both SUME’s community and the local population.

SUME provides a 240-square-meter canteen for male students and a 600-square-meter canteen for female students. Both canteens offer a variety of food and drinks to meet students’ needs. They are directly supervised by the Student Affairs Department and the Clinic to ensure quality and safety.

The main building of SUME features numerous public facilities, including both internal and external well-equipped cafeterias that cater to students’ needs. Additional amenities include a rooftop break space, prayer rooms for both males and females, a theater with a capacity of 350 people, a student activity hall, state-of-the-art computer labs, Mac labs, and a kitchen built to international standards for teaching students the art of food and beverage preparation.

The Conference Hall at SUME is equipped with cutting-edge technology, making it an ideal venue for various activities. It hosts events for academic and administrative departments, as well as student activities such as conferences, lectures, workshops, and orientation days.

The SUME building is designed to accommodate the needs of both teachers and learners. It is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including advanced AC systems, security and monitoring systems, smart libraries, computerized building control systems, and professional evacuation and emergency plans that comply with health and safety standards provided by the Palestinian Civil Defense and Palestine Standards Institution. Additionally, the building features external spaces suitable for both winter and summer, parking areas, facilities for individuals with disabilities, maintenance and security buildings, and curtains for halls and labs. All these facilities are supported by high-speed internet to serve students, teachers, researchers, and administrative staff.

Furthermore, the university offers educational ateliers for painting and design, skincare and beauty, single- and three-phase electricity, and networking. These ateliers are equipped with interactive screens, smart attendance systems, guidance displays, and lecture recording systems, enabling students to revisit content at any time. Numerous other labs and ateliers are also available, supporting both theoretical and practical education.
