The Smart University College for Modern Education is seeking a .NET Developer (C#/ASP.NET/WinForms) who is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performance web and desktop applications that support academic, administrative, and operational systems. The role requires strong technical skills, close collaboration with different departments, and the ability to translate business needs into effective software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using C# and ASP.NET Core.
• Develop and maintain desktop applications using WinForms.
• Implement clean, modular, and maintainable code following object-oriented principles.
• Collaborate with academic, administrative, and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues to ensure system stability.
• Develop APIs, backend services, and database integration components (SQL Server).
• Participate in code reviews, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement practices.
• Support deployment activities and help maintain production systems.
• Follow best practices in software engineering, including version control and CI/CD.
• Provide technical support to users when needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in C# and .NET framework / .NET Core And EF
- Experience with ASP.NET(MVC/WebForms), WinForms and Desktop Applications, Web API, and front-end frameworks (Angular/React)
- Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns
- Experience with SQL Server and Entity Framework
- Familiarity with DevOps practices (CI/CD, Git, automated deployments)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
- Leadership experience is an advantage.
Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field (preferred)
- 2+ years of software development experience.
